HAPPY HALLOWEEEN!!

November1

Yes, I know that my nieces are mortified that we celebrate Halloween… but we do… not so much like everyone else, but we still do.  This year we went over to Mimmi and Poppie’s house to hand out candy.  Vienna dressed up for the occasion as the Hallmark Properties Lion (my dad’s company logo).  She was the cutest darn Lion EVER!!!   Yes, the costume is only a size 3-6 month, so the pants really are too small, but you really can’t tell in the photo’s

Vienna won’t let me put anything in her hair.  I’ve tried using hair bows/clips to keep her hair out of her face, but she just rips them out right away, same with headbands, though I can trick her into wearing those a little longer… oh well, I’m not going to cut her hair though, because I want to get it long enough to put it in a pigtail.
Anyway, it was a fun holiday for her, she was a little confused I think, but she did know to take candy out of the basket my mom had and put it in her bag! ha ha ha…. sooo funny…
She helped my mom hand out candy sometimes (though I think she was disturbed that mom was giving the candy away.. not that she even knows what candy is!!!) and she did pretty well, being interested in all the kids… until one showed up in a skeleton mask **big sigh** I wish kids wouldn’t dress up like nasty evil things, and just dress as fun things… but alas I guess that’s really the way the world does Halloween… anyway… I think it was a tie between the grim reaper/skeleton types and pirates for the costume trend of the year.  There was a troop of ladybugs at one point.. oh so cute! Anyway… she did get scared after a while and didn’t even want US going to the door… but she recovered rather quickly.
I’ll have to start thinking of a costume for next year :)

Cute Pic! Love the costume. I forgot to take any pics of Dacia Grace this year! LOL!

Hair issues…..try a fountain ponytail. I used those for Dacia Grace for the longest time and still do at times. Scoop whatever hair you can get on top of the hair. Put in a small hair rubber band and viola….fountain ponytail. It will tak her a little to get used to it but she will.
