INTRODUCING….

March11

Here’s the first photo of our new little one!!  IT’S A GIRL!!!! Yes indeed folks, we are officially the house of “bling.” I get to stock up on more pink and glitter and bling bling bling!!!  I’m excited about getting to finish the girls room!  I was worried how I would redecorate if it was a boy (cause the babies have to share a room) but now I can just work to complete the pink black and white theme I have going on in there already :) I know it’s hard to see her in the photo, that’s because this little one seems to be just as active as Vienna was!!  She would NOT sit still to let us get a good photo of her, she kept rolling away from the ultrasound, held her hands in front of her face, and generally wouldn’t sit still.  This keeps me entertained in the evenings as she tap dances around my belly!  I’m already sooo excited to meet her!  July can’t come soon enough!  Hopefully by then we will have a name picked out :)   We actually are doing much better this time around having a short list handy already :) We’ll keep you posted!

Tired of Being Sick!

March11

Praise the Lord I’ve stopped the morning sickness puking for the most part!! Mornings are still a little rough, this baby really is trying to kill me, but for the most part I’ve finished being sick all the time with it.  However I still have this nasty cold, I’m sooo looking forward to this being over so I can get back to a bit more normal of a life!!  For the time being… I NEED A MAID!!! At least my parents house is put back together (they had a flood and had to redo most of the floors) so at least they can help with Vienna more often now :)

HALLELUJAH!!! Daddin Fixed It!!

March11

This last few months we’ve been having some rather high heating bills we couldn’t figure out!  Come to find out, when the people put our house on the new lot, they didn’t put the main heating duct up correctly!!!! So, for at least the last few months the entire vent for HALF THE HOUSE has been lying on the ground!!!   SOoooo for the last few months we’ve been basically heating the neighborhood!! (and doubling our heating bill!!) Praise The LORD we figured it out!! and that our friend Jason came down and helped Sam fix it (it was a bit more than a one man job with all the holding of the vent and the drilling of new holes and stuff).  And Thanks Jason for the help!!! (I sure didn’t wanna crawl under there with my big old baby belly!)

So so sick

March11

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. Our house has been like a hospital for the last month!  Man, it’s been crazy.  It all began with Vienna getting yet another UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). This is unusual for a baby her age to be getting so we had to go to the hospital for some tests.  We found out that Vienna has a Stage 3 Renal Reflux issue in one of her Urea/Kidneys.  This is not good, as it will continue to create UTI problems (it means that when her bladder is full the urine backs up into her kidney and can cause kidney damage if she keeps getting infections.  This means we  will eventually head off to a Pediatric Urologist to find out if he recommends she has a little surgery or if she will have to just be on antibiotics and be very careful.  Neither prospects make me very happy.   Unfortunatly there are only like three Pediatric Urologists for like most of the West Coast!  So… our appointment is not until July 8th!!!!  I’m SOOO not happy about that because I would just like to have our answers NOW!!  I’m also due with our next baby July 17th and would like to have Vienna all taken care of before we have her sibling!

While Vienna was on antibiotics she picked up a nasty nasty nasty cold bug that’s been going around here in Oregon.  It was sooo bad that her eyes were glued shut with nasty gunk! She had the worst runny snotty nose… every morning we had to wash her face and wash her SHEETS it was so bad!!! Even after naps her eyes would be nearly glued shut.  During the first three days of this cold for her I was due to go to Womens retreat with our church… Loving child that Vienna is, she shared her cold with me AND SAM so while I was away at retreat both Sam and I came down with the cold.  Sam was home alone with a very sick Vienna and a cold, and I came down with the nasties half way through the retreat myself.  It was horrible.  Sam and Vienna have both recovered. But it started slower for me, so I still have the nasty sore throat and stuffy head and exhaustion.  Not good when you are pregnant and can’t take much, though I did break down and get a prescription because my ears were so plugged and stuffed that I felt like I had ice picks in my ears… so we are on over a month now of being sick… at least I’m not puking with morning sickness anymore!!! :)   but I am rather tired of being house bound for the most part… Hopefully this will all blow over soon.

Pray Vienna’s PU Dr.’s appointment gets bumped sooner!! (that would take someone canceling an appointment or once the doctor gets her labs/test results he’ll deem her a higher priority!!) I don’t want her getting another infection!!!
